Here is a complete overview of my own samples, up to date until the date
stamp of this file. There are three types of samples, depending on the
sample source.

Most of the samples were recorded at 44.1 kHz, sometimes directly in 8 bits, 
sometimes first in 16 bits format, which was then converted to 8 bits format. 
I discovered that it is more practical to sample at 16 bit, then amplify the 
sample to a more reasonable volume, and then converting it to 8 bits sample. 
If you amplify the volume of an 8 bits sample, the noise amplification is 
much larger. When the 44.1 kHz sample was too large in size (>64000 bytes), 
it was necessary to decrease sample frequency.

Samples were first saved as VOC or WAV files and imported directly into ST3.2.
This yields the problem of unwanted clicks as ST3 does not remove the WAV
or VOC header. So now I import RAW sample data. To keep my original samples
in ST3 format without having to rip them, convert the VOC to RAW, and writing
down all loop positions, sample frequencies and sample names, it was more
conventient to write a small program which stripped the header from the
ST3 sample and saved it as a new sample with the same information. So now
all clicks should be removed at the beginning.


Class 1 Samples : These samples were recorded directly from CD using Creative 
                  WaveStudio. Because in some cases the Creative Ensemble 
                  Audio CD driver starts the CD just a fraction too late, I 
                  had to do some other tricks, and playing the CD on my Audio 
                  CD player instead of the computer CD-ROM and then taking in
                  the sound from the line-in input of the SB-16. 

Class 2 Samples : These samples were recorded on tape from computer output 
                  or from somewhere else. The tapedeck was mounted on the 
                  Line-in input of the SB-16 and the desired piece of sound 
                  was sampled with Creative WaveStudio.

Class 3 Samples : These samples are all original samples by Bolleke. They 
                  were recorded through SoundBlaster microphone with Creative 
                  WaveStudio.
